What to Expect

Never been to a service at Family of Faith?  Well we can’t wait to see you! Here are some things that may help you get a feel for the experience…

WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS FAMILY OF FAITH?

We are a nondenominational church with people from all sorts of backgrounds.  We have a passion to see our next door neighbors and people around the world encounter the love of God, and the hope found in the message of the cross.  For global connection, missions, and accountability, we are affiliated with the International Christian Leadership Connections, an apostolic network of leaders and churches from over 75 countries.

WHAT ARE SERVICES LIKE?

Our services offer everyone who attends something to take home, an experience with an awesome God!  Always applicable, our messages help chart the course for your next week, month, or even season of life and challenge you to do something great.  We hope your hour and a half here on Sundays makes all the difference in who God is in your life, active, engaging, and loving.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR MY KIDS?

We’re glad you asked!  We offer nursery for kids ages 0-3 and children’s church for kids ages 4-12.  There is a nursing mother’s room between the nursery and the auditorium with a two-way mirror so mothers may nurse in privacy but remain active in the services.  Through our children’s ministry we are able to offer more than just babysitting.  We promise to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your young one to learn and grow in their faith.

WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE GO TO FAMILY OF FAITH?

For Central Oklahoma it’s surprising what a melting pot of cultures, ages, and backgrounds we have attend.  But once here, those dividing lines mean nothing.  We truly operate as a “family of faith.”  Christ is our focus, and where you’ve been or what you’ve done is secondary to that.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?

Music is such a powerful tool for us to engage God. Whether the song is 2 days old or 200 years old, the truths about who God is and what He does are always at the heart of our worship times.  We are artistic and expressive in our worship times, offering up songs from bands such as Bethel, Elevation Worship, Hillsongs and others.  But we also sing many songs from artists who were birthed out of our own ministry such as Jason Scott and Mark Hennen of Reborn.
